You've planned, saved, and dreamed about this day. There are 1,001 details that will happen on your wedding day from the moment you wake up until that time when you're driving away in the backseat of your get-away car. Don't miss any of the must-have photos on your big day by being prepared before. There's nothing worse than living the best day of your life to find your photographer didn't capture elements that were important to you and your partner.
At week or so before the big day, take a moment to sit down with your partner and list out any of the photos you want to make sure your photographer captures from the day. Once you've got your "must-haves" send it off and know that every detail, from the bridesmaids getting ready to the sparkler send-off will be captured.
Professional photographers know to capture the traditional shots such as walking down the isle and the cake cutting, so include on your list the more specific images you're wanting them to capture. Like a shot of the groomsmen "Superhero cuff links" or Uncle Mikes bowler hat that he wears to every special occasion or mom's lace hankie that was embroidered by her grandmother.
An additional helpful hint when it comes to capturing the right people is to designated a wedding guest, who knows your families well, to shadow your photographer and point whom is who.
To help you out, we've created a FREE downloadable wedding photographer checklist. Print it out or fill it in online, forward it to your photographer and enjoy your day without a photo-worry.
